Back-End Developer / Platform Engineer

The Team

You’ll join a collaborative team of seven engineers where your ideas matter. Working closely with data, infrastructure and business teams, you’ll help shape a modern data platform used across the organisation.

What You’ll Do

• Build and enhance scalable back-end services and APIs
• Develop robust data integration and ingestion pipelines
• Design high-performance data models and storage solutions
• Improve data quality, governance and lineage tooling
• Translate business requirements into resilient technical solutions
• Collaborate on Azure cloud infrastructure and platform automation
• Drive reliable, high-availability systems supporting energy trading

What You’ll Bring

• 7+ years’ back-end development experience
• Strong coding skills in Python, C#, Java or similar
• Azure cloud experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD and DevOps practices
• PostgreSQL or other relational database expertise
• Experience with Apache Airflow, Prefect or similar workflow tools
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills
• Fluent English (Spanish advantageous)
• Energy or trading sector experience is beneficial but not essential
